Top GP Midget Racing Talent to Thrill Fans at Rushworth Speedway this Saturday Night

The Victorian Grand Prix Midget Racing Association (VGPMRA) is thrilled to kick off the 2023/24 racing season with Round 1 of the highly-anticipated Stinger Chassis Masters Series. Set to take place this Saturday night at Rushworth Speedway, this event promises to be an evening of heart-pounding action, with a stellar lineup of drivers confirmed for the race.

Nominations for the event feature a mix of seasoned veterans and promising newcomers, all vying for glory on the track.

The reigning champion, Alex Myers, will be out ready to commence his defence his title, facing stiff competition from a talented field of drivers. With the introduction of Peter Robotham who is no stranger to open-wheel racing, fans are eager to see how he adapts to the thrilling world of GP Midget racing.

All the on track action is set to kick off at 4pm this Saturday night 21st October with a healthy crowd expected for the season opener.

Stinger Chassis, a valued supporter of the Masters Series, has once again come on board to back this exciting series. The VGPMRA extends its gratitude to Travis Florrimell from Stinger Chassis for his continued support of the series and urges anyone who is interested in getting into the club to go and have a chat with Travis or any of the club members who will point you in the right direction.

VGPMRA Club President Matt Kamolins stated, "the club is looking forward to another successful year, the vibe around the club is great and we're looking to continue the family atmosphere we've building over the past few seasons. It's great to see an injection of new people joining the club like Peter Robotham this week and another rookie Johnny Rouse ready to hit the track in the next few weeks."
