Rushworth Speedway sets the stage for the finale of the 2024/25 VGPMRA Master Series presented by Stinger Chassis in one of the most high intensity season finales in Masters Series history. The title fight and its three contenders are separated by the barest of margins and every lap is going to count. The event will be doubling as the Ironbark Classic which means everyone will be wanting to add their name to the history books as well.

Thetitle fight is between season long points leader Alex Myers, who holds a narrow one point lead over rookie sensation Locky Robotham, with a further 11 point gap back to newly crowned Australian Champion Chris Fowler, as he will be looking to continue his scintillating form having also captured the Victorian title at an earlier trip to Rushworth.

Those three won't have it all their own way - Matt Kamolins, Travis Florrimell and Mark Cecil all brought home minor placings at last month's Australian Title showing they're ready to disrupt the major title players and end the season on a good result.

Paul Perry has shown he can match it with the frontrunners, and he will be joined by Luke Ward who's confidence is continuing to grow behind the wheel. Mark Blackeby has rebuilt his machine after a rollover at the last round at Wangaratta, whilst Daniel Meredith will be keen to throw down the gauntlet.

Rounding out nominations is Toby Brown, stepping into his father Terry's V88 as Terry recovers from surgery. The VGPMRA wishes Toby all the best in his debut and Terry a speedy recovery.

Rushworth is sure to provide high-speed thrills, intense side-by-side racing action and what will become most of the most memorable and hotly contested Masters Series pointscores in recent history.

Drivers are reminded that they need to be in the pits by 2pm to be eligible for the draw, with racing starting from 4pm.
