The stage is set for an electrifying night of high-speed action as the Victorian GP Midget Title rolls into Rushworth Speedway this Saturday night. Fans are in for a treat, with 13 competitors lining up from Victoria & NSW, with current & previous winners, an assortment of previous podium finishers, some ready to avenge previous missed opportunities & ever hungry rookies and veterans determined to try etch their name into history.

Three Victorian Title winners are in the field, defending champion Chris Fowler - looking to become the first back-to-back winner since Ashley Booker in 2013/14, 3-time champ Mark Cecil - who with a win would join an illustrious club of winning the Australian & Victorian Titles in the same season, and 2022 champion Gary Bowyer - who could become the first person to escort the V1 back over the Murray River to NSW twice.

Matt Kamolins, Travis Florrimell & Alex Myers have all been the bridesmaid in previous attempts and have all shown they have the pace to warrant reaching the top step come Saturday night. Terry Brown & Riley Bowyer have come close to victory in a Title event, both will be leaving no stone unturned in their desires to add their name to the trophy.

Locky Robotham & Paul Perry have demonstrated on multiple occasions this season they're capable of driving through to the front of the field and will have their sights firmly set on keeping everyone behind them. Rookie honours are on the line as Lilly Bullock & Warrick Spooner have engaged in numerous battles so far this season & along with veteran racer Mark Blackeby, could throw the cat amongst the pigeons to pull off a major upset.

Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to soak up the atmosphere, come down to the pits and grab some of the new posters that are in stock, and secure the best seats in the house before racing begins at 4PM. Whether you're a long-time fan or a first-time visitor, Rushworth Speedway is the place to be this Saturday night for an experience like no other.

Don’t miss your chance to witness history at the 2026 Victorian GP Midget Title.
