ROUND 4 AT NYORA HAS US ALL SET FOR A SHOWDOWN

Will we get to see the showdown that we’ve been waiting for this weekend at Nyora Raceway when current Victorian and NSW Champion Danny Stainer takes on the current Australian Champion Trevor Perry. Perry won the first bout last weekend at Redline Raceway however Stainer had to contend with a deflated front tyre after making contact with Blackeby a few laps into the feature. Can crowd favourite Danny Stainer turn the tables on Perry and claim victory this Saturday night or will Perry continue his run? Queuing up behind them wanting their slice of the winner’s podium is Jason Crawford who finished a solid 3rd last weekend. Currently leads the Masters Series he looks the most likely to cause an upset although Chris Fowler and Lisa Chalcraft could also pose a threat if they get their opportunity. The battle for the B-grade Championship heats up as well with Sean Denning currently leading whilst also sitting 2nd in points in the Masters Series however Mark Blackeby gained some crucial points last week after missing the first round and will be looking to claw back the 70pt lead Denning holds over him, and with Troy Buis missing this week it’s likely that Blackeby will move above him into 2nd if he can finish all his heats. Shawn Ward will be in the mix if he can find his fuel issue and get that sorted whilst Brandon Turner is excited to get back into the drivers’ seat for the first time this season. No doubt though that all eyes will be on front runners and on the tight bullring that Nyora can be it may come down to who handles the traffic best in the feature race. Nyora Raceway has a full card of entertainment this Saturday night so pack the picnic rug and get your spot on the hill to take in what will be some exhilarating racing. Racing starts at 5pm see you there.
