REDLINE'S HIGH BANKS ARE CALLING THE GP MIDGETS THIS SATURDAY NIGHT

This Saturday night Redline Raceway will host the next instalment of what has already been an actioned packed Ballistic Performance Parts Masters Series and with the return of Jason Crawford to the line up things are just heating up. It will be a relatively small field of cars in action this weekend with some regular drivers heading north to contest in the NSW Title at Goulburn Speedway however Jason Crawford is looking to gain some points back after missing the last round. Lisa Chalcraft is sitting in the prime seat to lead the series should she be able to put together a solid performance as she currently sits 2nd in the series only 52 points behind Trevor Perry who will miss this round.

Chris Fowler who currently sits in 4th place is looking to continue his recent form and given he won the round at Redline earlier in the season should be in the mix. His teammate Marty Job is also starting to improve his form and get the car sorted and will certainly be pushing hard come Saturday night. Sean Denning after having ignition issues last round has his car all sorted and ready to go after what has been a very consistent season for him. Another car that has been consistent this season but for all the wrong reasons has been the 81 car of Travis Florimell. Travis has reportedly fixed his drive shaft issues that he has continued to have most of the season and if this is the case then he will certainly be vying for the chequered flag at the end of the night.

Mark Blackeby returns for his 2nd run of the season after what was a promising shakedown session in the V10 car at Wangaratta last round. Mark is expecting to improve off that runs as he settles back into GP Midgets racing after 15 odd years out of the seat. It will be the drivers last chance to test their cars before the Australian Title on 22nd April at Wahgunyah Speedway. The GP Midgets really wind up around the high banks of Redline Raceway and it will be a small but very competitive field of drivers. Make sure you get to Redline Raceway this Saturday night for all the action with racing from 5pm.
