NYORA RACEWAY HOSTS GP MIDGET ACTION THIS SATURDAY NIGHT

GP Midget action is back this Saturday night as the speed demons head to Nyora Raceway for round 5 of the Ballistic Performance Parts Masters Series. Although the VGPMRA has a rich history with speedway in Victoria it will be the first time the GP Midgets have ventured to the Gippsland track but are sure to put on a show for the crowd. Trevor Perry will be looking to continue his red hot form and try to extend his lead in the series, however he won't have it all his own way with only 15pts separating the top 3. Hard chargers Jason Crawford from Croydon and Mooroopna's Lisa Chalcraft will be chasing him down to try and elevate themselves from 2nd and 3rd place in the series respectively.

Chris Fowler and Sean Denning are the next two in the points and have started gaining some momentum for the season and looking to continue their current form. While Travis Florimell and Louis Rodriguez haven't been able to take a trick this season, if they are able to get the reliability in their cars they two will be hard to stop. Marty Job had his best run for the season at Wangaratta 3 weeks ago and will be looking to continue as he left off as will the 37 car of David Bacon who had Janelle Saville in the pilot seat last time out but Bacon will return to driving duties this week. Missing the last round of the series, rookie Greg Campbell will return in the V9 car and continues to improve as he gets a handle on his new car this season. If you've been following the GP Midgets this season then you'll know the exciting and action packed racing they put on but if you're yet to get out and see them get to Nyora Raceway this Saturday night.
