GP MIDGETS THUNDER AT THE MURRAY ALL SET TO GO

This Friday and Saturday night the Victorian GP Midgets head to Wahgunyah Speedway for the Thunder at the Murray double header to support the National Modified Production Title.

The GP Midgets made their first appearance at Wahgunyah last season at what is an exciting and lightning fast track. Holding their own National Title at the track later this season in April drivers have jumped at the chance to get a few extra laps in at the track to dial in those set ups. All the usual contenders will be in the mix for a series of heat races with the highest point scorer over the two night program being crowned the winner. With drivers coming fresh off their Victorian Title efforts a fortnight ago nominations have been received from Cecil, Crawford, Chalcraft, Trevor Perry, Paul Perry, Fowler, Denning, Florimell, Campbell, Bacon, and Rodriguez. It's anyone's guess who will come away with the win and consistency will play a big part. The racing will be red hot in all categories and with over 50 of the country's best Modified Production drivers in attendance and Late Models on the Saturday night it will be two big nights of action.

The VGPMRA would like to thank the Wahgunyah Speedway for the opportunity to support such an event.
